I love this place! I've waited 4 years for a return visit here from Australia, and top of my list of things to do was have lunch at Merrie England! This time I had the eggs, sausage, tomatoe, with everything on a tea cake, and it was the duck's guts. The ladies working are gorgeous and the atmosphere is happy. I will definitely visit again before I leave in the next 2 weeks.

Had food here yesterday whilst the Xmas market was on. We couldn't decide what to eat and it was suggested we try a giant Yorkshire with Turkey, cranberry.and stuffing. Well...what can I say! Best meal I've had for ages. Ladies thank you for recommending, it was delicious. Next time I'm in Halifax I'm eating here!

I've not been in many of the merrier England's, it's really nice inside good decor and nice clean and cozy. The staff were fun and friendly and they do a decent latte and slice of cake. Nicely situated in the town centre too next to the market perfect spot to stop and have a rest. I'm sure I will pop back in soon :)
